QR's are an essential part of how you can engage with the Buddy Ecosystem. Within any Buddy app, you can scan QR's to pay merchants and for services. You can Sign in to certain locations, discover more info about something, redeem vouchers and so much more.


NOTE:

  • You don't need an internet connection to scan a QR but it might not work properly due to the QR's function needing an internet connection.


Examples of Buddy QR's out in the wild



Here's how you scan a QR


  1. After opening the app, tap the Pay button on the bottom app bar.
  2. Point the camera at the QR so it's within the green frame.
  3. And just like that, you've scanned the QR.
  4. Just follow the on-screen instructions.


Your phone will vibrate slightly (dependant on your phone's settings) and then whatever the QR you scanned is for, will execute. This could be for payments or to get a free Scratch4Smile$ WIN Game.
